Anna Salai (Mount Road)
Anna Salai, formerly known as St. Thomas Mount Road or simply Mount Road, is an arterial road in Chennai, India. It starts at the Cooum Creek, south of Fort St George, leading in a south-westerly direction towards St. Thomas Mount, and ends at the Kathipara Junction in Guindy.
Ripon Building is the seat of the Chennai Corporation (Madras Corporation) in Chennai (Madras), Tamil Nadu. This is a fine example of Indo-Saracenic style of architecture, a combination of three types of architectural styles - Gothic, Ionic and Corinthian. The Ripon Building is white in colour and is located near the Central station in Chennai. Commissioned in 1913, it was built by Loganatha Mudaliar. The Building took four years to build at a cost of 750,000 Rupees.
Tamil Nadu Government Multi-Super-Speciality Hospital is a 400-bed government-owned super-specialty hospital in Chennai, India. It is located at the Omandurar Government Estate on Anna Salai and was opened in February 2014 as a referral hospital, similar to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi, built at a cost of ₹ 1,431.4 million.
